About

I’m currently an Adult Literacies & ESOL Worker in Community Learning and Development with a local authority in Scotland. I’ve also taught general English and EAP to students coming to study at university in Scotland, and I do some tutor training.

I have a BA in Humanities and a Diploma in English Language Studies from the Open University and an MSc from Stirling University. Starting in September 2014, I’ll be a part-time student on the University of Glasgow’s Doctorate in Education programme.

I’m interested in language and learning and this blog was set up as a place to share thoughts, reflections and activities whenever I had something to say (and time to say it!)

For more about me, Vicky Loras interviewed me as part of a series to celebrate the third birthday of her blog, so you can read a bit more (and explore her blog) there.  And, I’ve recently participated in a blog challenge where you can find out more random facts about me, if you’re interested.
